I regular hear Christians accuse Yahoshua of changing the requirements of salvation from when he came or at least for the Gentiles.  I will refer to Yahweh’s anointed one by the name He gave Him, Yahoshua or commonly spelt Yeshua. Obedience and sincerity to Yahweh God our creator, has always been and remains the criteria.   This includes acceptance of one’s sins, repentance, and baptism into a born again change in life style or habits.  So we shall examine if the claimed change is indeed the case.   I will start at the beginning scanning through the teachings of God through His law and prophets similar to how Yahoshua and the apostles did, examine what the Messiah himself taught in the gospels, spend some time mainly in the book of Hebrews and, time permitting, conclude with a look at the promised new heaven and earth as narrated in Isaiah 66 and other places . 

We all accept Yahweh as

the universe and earth’s creator and the book of Genesis as humans beginnings.  That the original sin of Adam and Eve in chapter 3 and v15 as the conception of the promised messiah.  Prior to this event God had established a perfect environment inclusive of daily, weekly and annually appointed times with Him; translated as “seasons” in Gen 1:14 of KJV bibles.  Ignorance of this fact lead some to think the appointed times began with the nation of Israel.  Some that even the laws originated there.  They ignoring or excuse the extermination of those sinning continually in Gen 6:5, the clean and unclean animals of 7:2 or Abraham’s keeping of God’s commandments, statutes and laws of 26:5.  

Though we read of sacrifices by Noah and Abraham, we do not read of them being for a sin offering.  We do not read of them sinning. Noah took a variety of clean animals into the ark not only lambs or goats as later used for sin sacrifices.  There were killing of animals for offerings to God i.e. Abel in Gen 4:4, Jacob in 46:1; specific clean ones as Noah in 8:20 (which can be compared to Lev 11) and specific type of offerings as burnt offering in 22:2.  But we do not read about sin offerings until Israel are in the wilderness Ex 29:14,36 the purifying of the priests, Aaron and his sons as an atonement for sin.  There are many kinds of animal sacrificing offerings not to do with forgiveness of sins but a sweet smelling savor to Yahweh.  Burnt offerings Lev 1:9, meat offerings Lev 2:1; peace offerings Lev 3:1, trespass and heave offerings.  Sin offerings are in Lev 4.  It should be obvious from reading about these offerings which included the killing of an animal, that they differ significantly to that of Lev 16 which deals with the annual Day of Atonement.  I hope to show this is the sacrifice that Yahshua replaced.  Atonement for sin not the whole righteous living directives of Yahweh which we wrongly translate as Law.  Deu 9:27  Remember thy servants, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; look not unto the stubbornness of this people, nor to their wickedness, nor to their sin:  To me this says Abraham, Isaac nor Jacob lived sinful lives.  I am not going to comment here on whether when the New Testament says all have sinned, whether it refers to post patriarch’s or all human race since Enoch and others were said to be perfect. 

By Leviticus when God took a people out of Egypt to be holy onto Himself, they had been living in and adopted a sinful life.  Disobedience to Yahweh’s ways in favour of the Egyptian’s.  God gave them His righteous living system which His people (we call the Jews) gave the acronym name of the TORAH, meaning teachings of God Not law.  Remember the names of the books of the Bible are not God given but human reference ones.  The names of each of these books in Hebrew are taken from the first phrase in each book: Bereshit ("In [the] beginning", Genesis), Shemot ("Names", Exodus), Vayikra ("He called / meaning the Levites to be priest", Leviticus^[2]), Bamidbar ("In the desert", Numbers) and Devarim ("Words", Deuteronomy). 

God’s purpose as promised to Abraham was to set apart his descendants to be a holy people living in a holy land.  A people and land that lives by His instructions and guidance (Ex 19:5-6); free from snares of sin by cohabiting with pagans (23:33).  Moses, a descendant of Abraham was called to take the others out of pagan Egypt, to a promised land, give and govern them by God’s given instructions.  Earth is God’s to give to whom He chooses.  He took the land away from the Caanites, one of the descendant of Noah, because of their unrighteousness.   Deu 9:4  Speak not thou in thine heart, after that the LORD thy God hath cast them out from before thee, saying, For my righteousness the LORD hath brought me in to possess this land: but for the wickedness of these nations the LORD doth drive them out from before thee. Deu 9:5  Not for thy righteousness, or for the uprightness of thine heart, dost thou go to possess their land: but for the wickedness of these nations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee, and that he may perform the word which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

God’s intention was to immediately give Israel the land; but it took 40 years because it took that long to get Egypt’s life style out of them.  In fact it was so embedded that He waited until most of the older ones died out.  If we read Exodus from about chapter 19 – 24:11 we see God giving them this way of life which Moses wrote down in a book 24:4, the people agreed to keep it 24:7 and it was sealed with blood 24:8.  It now became a covenant to be referred to in future.  This was about three months after leaving Egypt [Ex 19:1  In the third month, when the children of Israel were gone forth out of the land of Egypt, the same day came they into the wilderness of Sinai.]   before Moses went up to get the FIRST tables of stone in 31:18. The second tables came in Ex 34 and about forty years before they got the promise of the land.   So before the tables of stone we have the people agreeing chapters 20 – 24:7 inclusive of keeping the seventh day Sabbath (20:8) and annual festivals 23:14-17.  Then we read “Exo 24:8  “And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which the LORD hath made with you concerning all these words”.   This reminds me of some Christian excuses that they will obey God after He either blesses them or gives them understanding as to why to obey Him.  This is not what scripture says i.e. in Psa 111:10  The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever. Psa 119:99 I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation.  

Moses then leaves with 73 others and later Moses only goes up to the mount to get the tables.  In that meeting with Yahweh he gets the instructions how to build and furnish the Tabernacle in which stood the Ark of “the Covenant”.  Which covenant?  The one already made and sealed in 24:7.  Now when one breaks an agreement (covenant) the agreement can either be ended and each party go their separate ways or saved through retribution, compensation etc by the guilty to innocent.  This was the purpose of further  instructions to Moses.  If you read from chapters 25-31 inclusive you should see this was all about the setting up a place and system for forgiveness of sins.  The breaking of the covenant of Exodus 24:7 by Israel.  But before you misinterpret Israel, I mean the group, assembly led by Moses, remember they were a mixed multitude inclusive of “strangers”, all of whom had to and agreed to live under the covenant (Ex 12:38).  (See Stranger and Gentile articles).  So now humans are given a system by God of how to live, a promise of His leadership and a repentance avenue if they break the covenant.  See Deu 29:1 (or in some Jewish bibles 28:69) Deu 29:1  “These are the words of the covenant, which the LORD commanded Moses to make with the children of Israel in the land of Moab, beside the covenant which he made with them in Horeb”.  The terms of the covenant coming before this verse not after.

Before Moses could return with the repentance method they had already broken their word.  Exo 32:7  And the LORD said unto Moses, Go, get thee down; for thy people, which thou brought out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves: Exo 32:8  They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them: they have made them a molten calf, and have worshipped it, and have sacrificed thereunto, and said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which have brought thee up out of the land of Egypt”.  God was willing to start again with Moses (32:10).  Maybe had God done so Moses would have got into the promised land.  Instead, he was not selfish, egoistic etc and took his leadership role very serious.  Even to his own detriment. 

By the end of the first five books of the bible we have this assembly, or church as referred to in Acts 7:38, coming into the land promised by God to Abraham.  They have a way of living inclusive of political, moral and ethical instructions.  Civil, sanitary and religious regulations inclusive forgiveness’ of sin.  All of which were to constantly remind His people God is eminently holy.  Then, God could be approached only by the priests, and then only in strict obedience to the detailed instructions for purification. God required the sacrifice of innocent animals for the covering of man's sin. These sacrifices symbolic of the ultimate sacrifice which would take away the sin of the whole world (John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. )  Remember what the five books were called by the Hebrews.  They were for recollection of the event and period.  "In [the] beginning, Names,  He called / meaning the Levites to be priest,  In the desert and Words. “ Words” being the book of Deuteronomy.  The prophets in particular sought to call the people back to the standards found in this book.  The New Testament writers quoted from the Book of Deuteronomy nearly two hundred times. Christ Himself quoted from it exclusively in his answers to Satan's temptations (Matt. 4:1-11, cf. Deut. 6:13).  A few observations of the “word” are, they were to worship only in places where God put His name, destroy all pagan ways and keep far from them so they do not become a snare. 

The twelve tribes or families of Israel’s descendants divided themselves into two kingdoms,  northern and southern.  Commonly known as Israel and Judah.   Both were put into exile.  Judah was seen to be slightly better than Israel.  The former were exiled into Babylon for seventy years as prophesied by God through Jeremiah. Deu 18:15  The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken”.  Moses told them that sometime in the future God would raise up a prophet from among them not their cousins as the Muslims claim. This prophet we shall see is Yahoshua. 

After Moses’ leadership came Joshua, Judges and even the initial two kings chosen by God.  The basics of the books from Judges to Malachi is how God’s instructions were understood or mis-understood; applied or mis-applied; good or bad leadership either through kings or prophets of which there were true and false ones.  Many, if not all the people, followed the leaders whether good or bad ones.  In the case of Elijah, he thought he was the only one keeping God’s ways until God told him He had reserved 7,000 who had not succumbed to Ahab’s and Jezebel’s false religion in the name of Yahweh God.  The promise of God to Abraham in Gen 12:3 and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.  Had not yet been fulfilled.  Though it could be said they were blessed by not being destroyed for their sinful ways.  Numerous places scripture mentions this assembly would be a light to the Gentiles, other nations.  That a Messiah would come and bring the obedient of Israel and Gentiles back to God. Isaiah 49:6 ... It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth. Mat 12:17  That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Mat 12:18  Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him, and he shall shew judgment to the Gentiles. Isa 35:4  Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you.

Isa 35:5  Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.  Isa 35:6  Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert. 

So that is how it was before the Messiah.  I think all here accept Yahshua as the promised Messiah of Yahweh; so I will not go through proving that from scripture. If you need a copy of such prophecies let me know. Everything about His life was prophesised.  From when, how and why He would come to length of His ministry, day and manner of death and resurrection.  From about Exodus chapter 19 – 24:11 we see God giving them this way of life which Moses wrote down in a book 24:4, the people agreed to keep it 24:7 and it was sealed with blood 24:8.  Nothing in those chapters says a messiah or anyone of God would come to change them.  So “fulfil” in Mat 5:17 does not mean change, as the word should actually be “establish”. Because everything of Him was prophesised, we can with certainty discern the lies of apparent ministers of light that claim unprophesised things took place i.e. laws were changed or cancelled.  Did the righteousness as mentioned in Matt 3:15 which refers to "fulfill", end when Jesus got baptised by John and said Mat 3:15   Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness.” ? I will limit the few chosen prophecies samples to what He came to do.  In addition to Isaiah 49:6 mentioned above, we have  Luke 21:33 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.  As quoted in Matthew 24:14, Yahsua said that his teachings (the Gospel) would be preached throughout the world. 

Let us look at some of the Biblical prophecies about this saviour. 

There would be a son called God:  In Isaiah 9:6-7, Isaiah speaks of a son who would be called "Mighty God" and "Eternal Father." Isaiah also indicates that this son would reign on the throne of King David and that this reign would be everlasting. Isa 42:6-9 I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles; Isa 42:7  To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house. Isa 42:8  I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images. Compare this with Mat 12:18-21; Luk 2:32; Acts 13:47; 26:23 and see also Isa 61:1. 

God's servant would die for our sins:  In Isaiah 53:4-6, the prophet described a servant as being punished for the sins of others, and that others would be healed by the wounds of this person.  As explained in the Gospels, Yahshua was crucified for our sins, and he was sinless. This ultimate sacrifice allows all, Jew and Gentile believing in Yahsua to have access and be redeemed from sin in the same way that lambs and other animals were once sacrificed as a symbolic way of cleansing people from sin on the Day of Atonement as explained in Leviticus 16.

Isaiah 53:4-6 Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him, and afflicted.  But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.  We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all. 

Zechariah foreshadowed the crucifixion of Yahsua: In Zechariah, chapter 12:10,

In Isaiah 53:12, the prophet wrote about a servant who would bear the sins of others and be punished side-by-side with criminals. As explained in the book of Matthew, Yahsua, though sinless, was "numbered with the transgressors" and crucified along with two criminals.  Isaiah 53:12. For he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.  See Isa 52:12 – 53:14 and Romans 11:25–26). 

Yahshua’s mission was not to start a church with His death.  The church or assembly as the word should be, was already in existence from when delivered out of Egypt, in the wilderness with Moses and given a holy way of life (Acts 7:38).  He was establishing it on a better promise than that of rams and goats.  Take it to the next level as they say. Saving the world from itself.

The real saviour tells us to keep the Law, God’s Torah (teachings) the false savior, the imposter tells us to break it, that it was nailed to the cross.  What he means is that he has changed it not God, Yahsua nor the Holy spirit.  These three in one are reflected in the Law as the same things are said of the Law as of Yashua who was the living Law in flesh 1Jhn 4:2.  Scripture speaks of their attributes in the same way.  Psa 40:7-8 “Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me, I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart”.  Yahoshua was heading to His father in heaven by doing His will, using the laws and commandments as His guide.  He confirmed He had not come to destroy or change the “Law”.  In fact, He came to magnify it.  Show how it is to be kept.  Shine a light on it and make it clear through clarification and examples.  Isa 42:21   “The LORD is well pleased for his righteousness' sake; he will magnify the law, and make it honourable”. 

Unfortunately there is only time to quote a few; but you could check the rest later.  Truth (Joh 14:6, Psalm 119:142), holy (Acts 4:27, Rom 7:12), perfect (Heb 5:9, Psalm 19:7) righteous (1 Cor 1:30, Psa119:172), light (Joh 8:12, Pro 6:23), just (Acts 22:14, Rom 7:12), abide in forever (Joh 8:35, Psa 111:7-8), should be in the heart (Eph 3:17, Psa 40:8), gives freedom, no condemnation and liberty (Rom 8:1, James 2:12).  Rejecting the Law is rejecting Yahsua (and visa versa), which brings wrath (Joh 3:36, Neh 13:18).  Yahsua was pure; in Him was no sin. 1 Joh 3:4 defines sin as transgression of Gods righteous living  instructions (the Law), going against Yahsua; “whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law”.  Therefore, how can any Christian professing to follow Christ think they are no longer under the law of God; under the Messiah’s directive to return to those ways?    That they are now free to commit sin against God and man (Rom 7:7)?  Psa 19:7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: Psa 19:8 The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.  Psa 19:11 Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward. (See Psa 119:18, 97-8, 115, 165)  Psa 89:34 My covenant will I not break,  or alter the thing that is gone out of my lips. Rom 7:12  Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.  Compare to description of God in Deu 32:4. 

PLAY INTRO TO N.T:  We shall now go through the four gospels identifying what Yahoshua taught.

As I carefully read each of what we call the 4 gospels, looking for what Yahoshua taught, I read he taught: but not so much of the details.  Most of the gospels are about His miracles.  Yes He used parables i.e. about the kingdom of heaven (a phrase used 69 times in the N. T); but no details of His teachings apart from distinguishing what was of God and what were traditions of men.  If you have a bible with His words in red, simply mostly read those parts.  It was about the kingdom of God that He sent His disciples to teach in Luk 9:2.  The kingdom according to Luk 22:18 that comes sometime after His resurrection if not at His second coming. 

Matthew: 4:4 we are to live by every word of God not only the later bread of his son.  Neither only 9 or ten commandments; 4:7 don’t tempt God. 4:10 worship and serve God only not His son. 4:17, 9:13, 11:20  Yahoshua taught repentance the same as John the Baptist in 3:2; 4:23. He preached in the synagogues and healed; 5:17 don’t even think He came to destroy the law or teachings of prophets; 5:26-8 we are to aim for the highest standard of morals not even looking at a woman with lust in our heart. 5:48 try and be perfect as our father in heaven. 6:9 pray to the father not the son.  6:19, 33  don’t aim to lay up treasures for yourself on this earth  But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.  Mat 7:12  the law and the prophets is about doing right as you expect to be treated. See also 22:37-40, 1Tim 1:5, Rom 13:8.  13:18 parable of sower, Yahoshua came to sow good seed from an incorruptible tree to bring forth good fruit unlike the false prophets of 7:15-23 or today who teach God’s regulations are nailed to the cross or have been changed.  Good fruit become like the one who is good, Yahweh.  Born again of incorruptible seed, doing God’s will (v21, 26:39 and 1Pet 1:23).  Others are cut down and cast into the fire v19, 13:40,50.  They either refused to hear and understand or repent as Nineveh (12:41).  8:4 Yahoshua told the healed man to go and keep God’s law as told by Moses in Lev 14:3-4; 9:2,6 Yahoshua had power to and did forgive sins even before His death  which was normally done by an animal sacrifice.  The forgiven man was not told to go to the priest and make an offering according to the law as was the healed one.  Mat 12:50  For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother. 15:3, 6b keeping traditions instead of God’s commandments is transgression and takes away their very purpose, making one godly. 

Now many like the Pharisees in 15:12 may get offended by this frank teaching; but the bible states the end of them and those believing them.  All fall into the ditch or fire. 16:27 works do count.  Mat 19:17  if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. A similar answer is given in Luk 10:25-8.  Mat 19:20 All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet? Mat 19:21  If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.  We are to aim to be perfect though not called to be.  We are called to keep the commandments to enter eternal life otherwise one may be wasting their time and fooling themselves. 

Another example of Yahoshua teaching observance of God’s way as told through Moses is Mat 23:1  Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples, Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:  All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do;  In Mat 24:1-2 and other scriptures, Yahsua said that Jerusalem and the Temple would be destroyed, that the destruction of the Temple would be so complete that not a single stone would be left on top of another, that the Jews would be forced out of their homeland and into all the nations of the world, and that the church would prevail despite intense persecution.

Mat 24:14  And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. Mat 26:17  Now the first day of the feast of unleavened bread the disciples came to Jesus, saying unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare for thee to eat the Passover? So when we later read at this memorial Jesus said do this in remembrance of me or as often as you do this, we ought to think he was referring to the annual event not a weekly nor quarterly one.  Just as often as we celebrate someone’s birthday (annually) we remember them and the date of their birth.  The purpose of Jesus was Mat 26:28  For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. 

Mark:  What is the gospel of Yahoshua?  What good news did He bring?  Mar 1:14  Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God.  It was to do with how to gain the kingdom of God.  Obedience to God’s instructions, repentance for and turning away from sin, baptism into a new life of correct behaviour to god and fellow man as prescribed by Yahweh God. 

Mar 1:21  And they went into Capernaum; and straightway on the Sabbath day he entered into the synagogue, and taught  Mar 1:23  And there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit; and he cried out, Mar 3:1  And he entered again into the synagogue; and there was a man there which had a withered hand. Mar 6:2  And when the Sabbath day was come, he began to teach in the synagogue:  Yahoshua’s custom was to be in the synagogue on Sabbaths not because he was a Jew but because that was God’s church.  Granted in it was the sick and possessed; but as He said a righteous man has no need of a physician.  He did not come for the saved; but the lost.  The difference between that church and those of today calling themselves God’s church, is that one kept God’s seventh day Sabbath, other holy days and though they had ones possessed in attendance, they were not on the altar preaching against keeping God’s laws.

Mark 14:24   And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many. Not all. The gospel may be taught in all nations, and some from each may be saved; but note Yahoshua did not die for all only those that believe and obey.  Remember Rev 18: 23 says all nations were deceived.  Again not everyone in all of them as a remnant is loyal.

LUKE.  Listen to 2 mins clip intro to Luke. Note he, a Gentile, does not teach nor say Gentiles have to do anything different. 

1:17 Note John Baptist’s job to turn disobedient to wisdom of the just i.e the law (Rom 2:13; 7:12) make them ready for  teachings of the Messiah. Luk 1:79  To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace. 1:74-5 purpose of God’s deliverance is that we serve Him without fear, in holiness and righteousness all the days of our life. 1:77 to give knowledge of salvation through remission of sins.  With remission first comes repentance, which follows knowledge of sin, which is transgression of God’s law.   Luk 2:32 before the face of all people;  A light to lighten the Gentiles..

Luk 3:3  “…the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins;”. 3:8-9 we must bring forth fruits (actions) worthy of repentance not keep old sinful ways otherwise we are cut down and thrown into the fire.  New wine cannot be put in old bottles as a new life in our saviour cannot be put into old hearts. However, as 5:39 concludes many prefer the old wine, sinful life of the world.  They hear the way of salvation but refuse to do the works needed.  So in 8:18 we are warned to take heed how we hear.

2:41 calls Passover a feast, v43 it lasted “days”.  3:22 the H.Spirit can take on various shapes.  Here a bodily one as a dove, in Acts 2:3 as cloven tongues. Nothing is impossible with God.  4:6 the devil can give power and glory; but not eternal life only given by Yahweh. Luk 4:18  The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel.  It is the same as Isaiah 61:1 where gospel is “good tidings”.  Both are of God not Yahshua as the gospel, good tidings of God was before the N. Testament. 

Yahoshua’s family are those who hear the word of god and DO it (8:21). 9:56 He came to save not destroy people’s lives as they are already on their way to destruction in their sins.  Perishing for lack of knowledge of God’s kingdom of heaven.  Possibly as warned in 11:35 thinking the darkness inside of them is light.  That they have the correct theology, light, but it is in fact deceit, error; darkness.  Hence v51 He has come to divide the law keeper from the law breakers.  Many claim we are not to judge, yet v57 says we are to judge what is right (also Jhn 7:24). 13:3 & 5 we perish for not repenting.  13:28 Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and the prophets got into the kingdom of heaven.  What did they have in common, they kept God’s commandments, laws and statutes.  Zacchaeus in 19:9 offered to make amends for any wrong he did and received salvation that day being through faith and acceptance of Yahoshuas’ teachings of repentance.  He, a publican, became a child of Abraham as mentioned in Rom 4:11, 12, 16 & Gal 3:7. 

Luke ends with chapter 24 Yahshua meeting two of his disciples on the road discussing his death.  He states in v25 , “ O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken:” Luk 24:27  And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.

Luk 24:44  “And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me”.   Is there any part of the law, prophets or psalms stating a Messiah would come and do away with the instructions of Yahweh. NO!  only that one would come to be light to the world, Jew and Gentile as we define them.  Luk 24:45  Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, Luk 24:46  And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: Luk 24:47  And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. Luk 24:48  And ye are witnesses of these things. Luk 24:49  And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high. 

Then comes the witnessing in the rest of the bible (N.T.) first in Jerusalem on the day of Pentecost, hence the need to speak languages of all other visitors to the feast so that 3,000 believed and were baptised.  Not into Christianity; but real original messianic believing Jews.  Of which there are many false one’s today using the name and some Jewish flavours.

Jhn 3:5 speaks of born of water and the spirit. We should all know Joh 3:16  “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” & V17-18 not to condemn the world but save it.  Of course it has to be the right belief about Him not a false or deceived one.  Note v18 does not say “did not believe in the only begotten son” but Joh 3:18  He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”  It is not surprising to me how many times the names of God and his son are emphasized and almost all Christians overlook this paramount criteria substituting them for titles as Lord or a Greek god’s name as found in bibles. Joh 3:23  And John also was baptizing in Aenon near to Salim, because there was much water there:.  So baptism must be by submersion not a cup full on one’s head.  Joh 4:23  true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: we read again it is about the father not the son in Joh 5:24  He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. Joh 5:28  the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, Joh 5:29  And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.  Jhn 6:40 states this happens at the last day not before.  So t.v., internet programmes and other media promoting life after death before Yahshua’s second coming are not of Him but deceivers. Believing and supporting them is anti God.  Joh 5:19  The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.  So if we want to be like the son we ought to obey and be like the father, keep His commandments as a sign of love to Him (1Jhn 5:2-3). 

Joh 5:45  Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust. Joh 5:46  For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me.

Joh 5:47  But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words? We accuse and condemn ourselves when our lives are compared to the laws given via Moses.  Joh 6:44  No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him:  God gave us and sends us to His scriptures.  Through His word He draw us.  Joh 6:45  It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.  Rom 10:14  How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? Joh 8:31  Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; Joh 8:32  And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. Just like Paul refers to enduring to the end to be saved.  Believe and salvation is not a one moment decision; but a continuation. Not falling away.  Unlike common belief that one cannot lose their salvation once believe and get baptised.

Joh 8:39  They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham.

Joh 12:27  Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour. Joh 12:31  Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out. Joh 12:32  And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. Joh 12:50  And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: Joh 14:22  Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world? Joh 14:23  Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. 

Joh 15:16  Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: 

Joh 15:26  But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father,  the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me: (testify is to be a witness of what occurred before. Hence the Spirit of truth would not teach you something against God’s laws.)  Joh 15:27  And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning. Joh 16:13  Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth:  Joh 17:17  Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.  So any spirit telling you god’s righteous laws are nailed to the cross or similar are not of truth.  Not from the Father. 

By the similarities of the following scriptures they should show Yahoshua was the Passover over lamb i.e neither legs were broken. Joh 16:28  I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.  Joh 19:33  But when they came to Jesus, and saw that he was dead already, they brake not his legs: Joh 19:42  There laid they Jesus therefore because of the Jews' preparation day; for the sepulchre was nigh at hand. Exo 12:46  In one house shall it be eaten; thou shalt not carry forth ought of the flesh abroad out of the house; neither shall ye break a bone thereof. Num 9:12  They shall leave none of it unto the morning, nor break any bone of it: according to all the ordinances of the passover they shall keep it. 1Co 5:7  Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:  

Yahosua was the final Passover lamb, whose blood was similarly shed that the second death may pass over those who claim His blood on the doorpost of their hearts and obey the commandment to live within its protection.  Not putting the blood on your door or coming out into the world once you have, leads to death.  The day of Passover is not a Sabbath day though the Jews customarily keep it as such as part of the 7 days of unleaven bread. It is actually the preparation day for the 1^st day of unleaven which is an annual Sabbath.  Passover was not from creation as the other appointed times; but instituted as a memorial of God’s deliverance out of Egypt which represents the sinful (anti God) world. 

Joh 20:31  But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name. Not through Him; but His NAME as given by His father not a supposed Greek translation. 

I remind you of Joh 12:50  And I know that his commandment is life everlasting:

Joh 6:40  And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. Joh 6:48  I am that bread of life Joh 6:51  I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live forever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. Joh 14:6  Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. 

Gen 22:18  And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.   God’s promise to the human race came through one man’s obedience (Abraham’s) as did the punishment from one man’s disobedience (Adam). Yahoshua came to be our one man / God saviour.  Had Abraham not passed the test that whole human race may have been taken from the earth as happened in Noah’s days and what God would have done to Israel was it not for Moses’ pleading  (Ex 32:10). 

HEBREWS

There has been and remains some controversy about the authenticity of the book of Hebrews.  Its author is unknown and a few names have been suggested. However the traditional position is that Paul wrote it.  From the beginning the eastern church attributed it to him but the western did not accept it until the 4^th century.  It was thought to have been written originally in Hebrew and later translated by Luke into Greek. However, the recipients of the letter knew of its author and recognised their credibility.  It was written prior to the fall of Jerusalem in AD 70.

The purpose of the epistle was to reassure Jewish believers that their faith in Yahoshua as the Messiah was secure and legitimate. Also, it was intended to prepare them for the impending disaster of the Roman destruction of Jerusalem. The temple, with its system of animal sacrifices and the office of the priest, would soon be done away with, just as Yahoshua had predicted. The Book of Hebrews explains that there was no more need for a priest to intercede before God's throne on an individual's behalf since the Messiah’s death provided believers with direct access to God's throne (Heb. 4:14-16; 10:19 -22). Furthermore, His blood now continually takes away sin (Heb. 9:18 -26).

The Book of Hebrews is divided into two major sections: the first deals with doctrinal issues (Heb. l:1 -1O:18) and the second focuses on practical living (Heb. 10:19 -13:25). It was evident that these believers were weak in their faith; when they should have been teaching others, they themselves still required teaching. 

The writer urges them to grow and not remain as 'babes" in Christ (Heb. 5:12-14). A major theme in the book, often expressed by the words "better" and 'great," is the superiority and preeminence of Yahoshua (Heb. 1:4; 2:3; 4:14; 7:19, 22; 8:6; 9:11, 23, 10:32, 34, 35; 11:16, 34, 40; 12:1; 13:20).  

Heb 1:1  God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,  Heb 1:2  Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; 

Heb 2:2  For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward; Heb 2:3  How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;

Heb 2:9  But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.   Heb 2:14  Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; Heb 2:16  For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham. Heb 2:17  Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people”. This reconciliation is what Aaron did on the Day of Atonement in Lev 16:15-17  Then shall he kill the goat of the sin offering, that is for the people, and bring his blood within the vail, 

Heb 3:1   brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Yahoshua ha Messiach Heb 4:2  For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: (speaking of those in the wilderness, so it is not a N.T gospel) but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. (mixed with faith NOT faith replacing other)

Heb 4:3  For we which have believed do enter into rest, Heb 4:4  For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works. Heb 4:7  Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, Today, after so long a time; as it is said, Today if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts. Heb 4:9  There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.  Heb 4:14  Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. Heb 4:15  For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Heb 4:16  Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. Eph 2:18  For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. See also Heb 10:19-21.

Heb 5:1  For every high priest taken from among men is ordained for men in things pertaining to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins: Heb 5:3  And by reason hereof he ought, as for the people, so also for himself, to offer for sins. Heb 5:4  And no man taketh this honour unto himself, but he that is called of God, as was Aaron.

Heb 5:5  So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest 

Heb 5:13  For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. Heb 5:14  But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. Heb 6:1  Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God Heb 6:2  Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.

Heb 7:11  If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron? [We know the whole Law Torah as given to Moses was not via the levitical priesthood.  So we need to know to what the words "the law" relates.  It is the part related to sacrifice for sins.  Connected specifically to Aaron and the priesthood NOT Moses’ total laws.  Just like we have many laws and when one says the law, they have or should identify which one of the whole body of laws].

Heb 7:12  For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law. Heb 7:13  For he of whom these things are spoken pertaineth to another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the altar. Heb 7:14  For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Judah; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood.  [Read the rest of chaper 7 to see replaced priesthood, sacrifices for sins is what is being taught].  Heb 7:27  Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this he did once, when he offered up himself.  Heb 8:1  Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;

Heb 8:2  A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man. Heb 8:3  For every high priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifices: wherefore it is of necessity that this man have somewhat also to offer. Heb 8:6  But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better testament (some versions have covenant), which was established upon better promises. Heb 8:7  For if that first had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. The first being animal sacrifices under 7:11 which is less than the better promise of Yahshua’s blood. 

Heb 8:8  For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah: Heb 8:9  Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord. [This was the covenant of Ex 24:3,7,8.  They were led by an angel (some say pre-incarnated Christ) in the wilderness to keep them in the way of God (Ex 23:20) and now again in the N.T. for all believers.]

Heb 8:10  For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:  [Not give them a different law, set of righteous living but put the same inside of them so that] Heb 8:11  And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. Heb 8:12  For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more. Heb 8:13  In that he saith, a new he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away. Christians seem to forget or not know this is a quotation for Jer 31:31 to which if we go back find it relates to Israel not them.  31:35 and 33:35 speaks of the ordinance of the sun and moon and only if those cease then Israel will cease to be a nation to whom God’s promises and covenant relate.  Christians should stop trying to teach themselves or take things they claim in the Old Testament were for the Jews, for themselves in the New.  Their founding fathers of the Church of Rome and Protestants got much wrong from the beginning and their followers continue in their errors. 

Remember we are not talking about the laws of God; but the agreement the people made and broke.  Breaking an agreement not to sit on a chair, does not break the chair.  It remains as does the laws of god.  The agreement may be ready to vanish away; but has not necessarily vanished.  Also the “new” spoken of here is one of freshness not a replacement.  New covenants do not make the prior obsolete.  One can have many covenants as they can garments of clothing.  God did not end or throw away the covenant made with Noah concerning the rainbow when He made future covenants.  Noah’s one still exists today. You do not necessarily throw away present items when get a new one.  One can also give a testimony of many things at the same time.  I testify this happened and I testify that also happened.  So clear your mind that new means one and only in existence. 

Heb 9:1  Then verily the first had also ordinances of divine service, and a worldly sanctuary. Heb 9:2  For there was a tabernacle made; the first, wherein was the candlestick, and the table, and the shewbread; which is called the sanctuary. Heb 9:3  And after the second veil, the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of all; Heb 9:4  Which had the golden censer, and the ark of the covenant overlaid round about with gold, wherein was the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron's rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant; [compare with]

Exo 25:8  And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them. Exo 25:9  According to all that I shew thee, after the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the instruments thereof, even so shall ye make it. Exo 25:11  And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, within and without shalt thou overlay it, and shalt make upon it a crown of gold Exo 25:16  And thou shalt put into the ark the testimony which I shall give thee. Exo 31:18  And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God. Reading between chapters Ex 25 - 31 we see Heb 9 refers to that sacrificial system which was not part of the covenant made in Ex 24:8.  Hebrews goes on to show the inferiority of that temporal animal system compared to Yahshua’s blood. Heb 9:10  Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation.  Heb 10:19  Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, Heb 10:20  By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;  Joh 14:6  Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. 

Heb 9:11  But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; Heb 9:12  Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.

Heb 9:13  For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: Heb 9:14  How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? [Not all works merely dead unprofitable ones of the world rather than of God.]

Heb 9:15  And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.   

Heb 9:18  Whereupon neither the first was dedicated without blood. Heb 9:19  For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people, Heb 9:20  Saying, This is the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you. Heb 9:21  Moreover he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry (Ex 29:12).  Heb 9:22  And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.  Heb 9:25  Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others; Heb 9:26  For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. Heb 9:28  So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.  

Heb 10:1  For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect. Heb 10:11  And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:

Heb 10:12  But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of God;

Heb 10:19  Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, Heb 10:20  By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; Heb 10:21  And having an high priest over the house of God.  Aaron had to take the annual sacrifice through the “veil” into the most holy place of the earthly sanctuary.  That cloth veil has now been replaced with that of the flesh of Yahoshua as to why the cloth version tore at His death. 

Heb 10:26  For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

Heb 10:36  For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

Heb 12:1  Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

Heb 12:2  Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.   My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:

Heb 12:6  For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth Heb 12:7  If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?

Heb 12:19  And the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which voice they that heard intreated that the word should not be spoken to them any more:

Heb 12:20  (For they could not endure that which was commanded, And if so much as a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or thrust through with a dart: Heb 12:21  And so terrible was the sight, that Moses said, I exceedingly fear and quake: Heb 12:22  But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,

Heb 12:25  See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:

Heb 12:27  And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. Heb 12:28  Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:

Heb 12:29  For our God is a consuming fire. 

Colossians (1:13-20) ^‘13Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:   ¹⁴In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:   ¹⁵Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:   ¹⁶For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:   ¹⁷And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.  ¹⁸And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.  ¹⁹For it pleased the Father that in him should all fullness dwell;  ²⁰And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven’. 

My desire for you all is to get to inherit the new heaven and earth where the life originally ordained by Yahweh god would be renewed.  Keeping His righteous living and appointed holy days.  Weekly (Sabbath from Friday sunset to Saturday sunset), annually  (at least the 3 mentioned in Ex 23:14 if not the seven of Lev 23.  Feast of unleaven bread which the deceiver fooled people to change to Easter; Feast of First fruits or known as Pentecost in Acts 2; feast of ingathering or Tabernacles.  These were in existence before Adam and Eve, continued since them to today though only kept by the undeceived and all in the new earth and heaven will be keeping them after Yahoshua’s second coming.  The next one being Tabernacles next Wednesday sunset 4^th – sunset 5^th September. 

Missed or misunderstood scriptures: Remember Paul is servant of Yahsua, a faithful servant does not teach or change the teachings of the master.  If they do they have no authority to so do. Thus either people are misunderstanding Paul’s teachings as it says in …….  Or are deceived willingly or otherwise. 

1) beware of doctrines of Pharisies = their added traditions to God’s given laws.

3) Grace:  Joh 1:17  For the law was given by Moses, “but” grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. This is an example of the problem with English translations.  Words are translated or inserted according to the scriptural understanding of the translator at that moment in time.  The word inserted “but” should not be there.  It could imply, as some see it, that grace replaced the law.  As if both cannot coexist as a jacket and trousers.  Remember Grace, the favour of God, was there from the beginning.  Adam and Eve got it when their exposed loins were covered by God.  Noah, Abraham and the group with Moses also got it.  The sentence merely states the law was handed down through Moses and grace through the son element who was there from the beginning.  i.e. one person bought me a jacket and another the trousers so that I now have both to make a set. 

4)  Luke 16:16 “the law and prophets were until John” but reconcile with v17 “it is easier for heaven and earth to pass than one tittle of the law to fail.  I think this means, since Yahshua is the law, He has now come to tell us himself rather than via messengers or school master.  As Paul said in Heb 1:1  God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Heb 1:2  Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds.  The parable of the rich man and Lazarus ends with Abraham saying the living have the law and prophets to teach them and those who refuse to believe what they teach would also fail to believe Yahshua who rose from the dead is teaching the same thing. say the need to keep the fourth Commandment (the 7^th day Sabbath / Saturday) has been replaced by Jesus because; the Sabbath was only about resting which Christians can now do in Jesus.  They rely on Matt 11:28 “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest”.   The book “Have I Got It Right God” addresses this and many other unbiblical interpretation of common scriptures.  In addition, we are to ask ourselves, how do we get rest in Yahoshua, how do we “come” onto Him, where is He heading and how do we follow Him? In Matt 19:17 Jesus directs if we are to enter into life (get rest), we are to keep His father’s commandments.  Joh 10:27 “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:  Joh 12:26 If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour”.
