Rev 14:2 And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps: Rev 14:3 And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth. Rev 14:4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are VIRGINS. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the FIRSTFRUITS unto God and to the Lamb. Rev 14:5 And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God. [This is not the same 144,000 as in Rev 7:4 who came from the tribes of Israel. The verse says “an 144,000” rather than “the 144,000” which would refer to those already mentioned. There is a theory that the number 144,000 is not literal; but symbolic. These have certain other criteria, one of which is being a VIRGIN. So anyone with a child CANNOT be of this number. They may be like the prophets of the Old Testament (The Lamb was also in the Old), or like Paul who was able to say 1Co 7:8 I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, It is good for them if they abide even as I. 1Co 11:1 Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ]. Rev 14:6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, Rev 14:7 Saying with a loud voice, FEAR GOD, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and WORSHIP HIM that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. Rev 14:9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, Rev 14:10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: Rev 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the COMMANDMENTS (G1785) OF GOD AND the faith of Jesus. [ENTOLE: Please pay particular attention to this explanation. From Exodus 20:2-17 people have been taught there are 10 commandments. The phrase is even inserted into bibles at Exo 34:28, Deu 4:13, and Deu 10:4. Then it is attributed to Ex 20:1-17. Hollywood movies are even made with that name to promote the misunderstanding. This is one of the biggest misrepresentations, translations and teachings of the bible. See a sermon titled “Was the 10 commandments Really on the Stones?” at forwardtoyahweh.com What I will explain here is the use of “COMMANDMENTS” in Revelations 12:17, 14:12, 22:14 as I know almost everyone will be thinking it relates to the ten commandments. IT DOES NOT as there is no such thing as ten commandments! Most will agree God gave us more than ten things to do and keep. Yet they think if they keep those ten they are saved and get the gift of eternal life. Falling for that deception may be the single thing that keeps most seekers out of the kingdom. Regardless of all their good efforts, they simply failed to meet the criteria of Rev 12:17, 14:12 or 22:14. The devil is not going to waste his time deceiving you if at the end you can claim ignorance. What profit is that to him? He knows ignorance is no excuse. That seekers perish for lack of knowledge i.e. being ignorant of the real facts and TRUTH. I have heard a person use the excuse that something from God i.e. the thunder and lighting started at Ex 20:18. That is incorrect, the thunder and lighting started from chapter 19 and was part of the atmosphere during God’s speech (Ex 19:16). The “commandments” of Revelations come from a Greek word “G1785 ἐντολή entolē en-tol-ay' From G1781; injunction, that is, an authoritative prescription: - commandment, precept”. See Matthew 15:3, John 2:3 (Mat 15:3 But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?). It differs from other instructions as G1781 “charge” as in Mat 4:6, Mark 13:34, John 15:17, Acts 13:47 (Mat 4:6 And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee:...). “Entole” is the most common of the words meaning “commandment” (see G1297 meaning edict or decree; G1296 meaning ordinance, disposition; G1778 meaning a religious commandment; G2003 meaning commanding authority, order, command; G3852 meaning charge). The difference between “ENTOLE” and all those other words is it stresses the AUTHORITY OF THE ONE GIVING THE COMMAND / INSTRUCTION, while G1778 stresses the “thing” commanded. In other words; if Revelations “commandment” related to a “ten commandments” or specific thing, the Greek word would have been one of the others. “Entole” means everything that person (GOD, the one giving the instructions) has said is to be kept to meet the entry criteria. If you fail to keep one or repent and receive forgiveness for it, you have not met the criteria. For that reason 12:17 and 14:12 says “.... AND the testimony / faith of ...”. That fits with “Luk 13:5 ... except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish”. The devil only has to find one sin that you think is not a sin, for which you do not confess, repent and thus get forgiven and he has deceived you out of your gift; I.E. NOT KEEPING Leviticus 23. 1Jn 1:8 IF we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the TRUTH is not in us. 1Jn 1:9 IF, IF, IF, we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1Jn 1:10 IF we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. There are many “IF’s” that you have to overcome. First recognise what is sin. Go by what God says not preachers nor your understanding. “COMMANDMENTS” mean “EVERYTHING” God has asked you to do. Which part of EVERYTHING, do you not understand? It is not limited to 10. God did not divide it into moral and ceremonial laws as some denominations have. I have throughout these studies drawn your attention to verses dealing with “What is needed for Salvation”. Basically they were what made up the covenant of Ex 20 - 24:4-7. In that list was Ex 20:8 and 23:14. The things I suspect most seekers will fail to keep due to their man made denominational teachings which replaced them with Sun day, Easter and Christmas. I also directed you to God’s list of HIS HOLY CONVOCATION (meeting) times of Leviticus 23. I can do no more than repeat the several warnings to the churches Rev 3:22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. Rev 13:9 If any man have an ear, let him hear. Rev 2:5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and REPENT, and do the first WORKS; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou REPENT. The first works was to keep the ENTIRE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD. Deu 5:32 Ye shall observe to do therefore as the LORD your God hath commanded you: ye shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left. The last works is Rev 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall ADD unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: Rev 22:19 And if any man shall TAKE AWAY from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book]. Nothing on salvation in chapter 15. Rev 16:1 And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth... Rev 16:13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. Rev 16:14 For they are the spirits of devils, WORKING MIRACLES, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. [I have not commented on chapters 15 and 16, They say what happens to those who do not keep the “ENTOLE”. Keep the ENTOLE and you need not bother about what happens to others as hopefully you will not be among them. You have until you die to repent and change. Tomorrow is not promised to anyone. During 2019 healthy people have died unexpectedly and without warning. Today may be your last. Make the change. Friends, pastors etc cannot help you once you have gone. Their prayers cannot change your destination only your works while you will can. Thousands may come to your funeral; but you are judged by your WORKS (ENTOLE) and then your repentance in Messiah’s name]. NOTHING NEW IN THE NEW TESTAMENT TO THE OLD.
