When I begin to study a topic, I search a reliable bible which traces its translation back to the Hebrew or Greek, for all the occurrences of the word.  In this case I searched for, “the spirit” “Holy spirit”, “Holy Ghost” and simply “spirit” knowing it would be too many as that would include all spirits, human, evil etc.  The result is on the screen. Though in English they are given at least two different words, spirit and ghost.  In the Hebrew and Greek, they are the same word, H7307 for the Hebrew and G4151 for the Greek.  Obvious observations are The Spirit and The Holy Spirit are in both the 1^st and second Testaments.  Since there is only one that is holy or good, it must be the same Spirit given two different descriptions.  We are told Yahweh God is the only God, there is none beside him [1^st Sam 2:2, Isa 45:6,21].  That He is a spirit Joh 4:24  God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him ...

I think it was my annual reading of the bible in 2013 that showed me it was not the 10 commandments which was written on the Tables of stone as we are taught to believe.  I did an article titled “…” which alluded to this; but did not comprehensively address the question.  Now in 2014, back at the same scriptures, I noticed some further things that led me to look into the question further.  These are my findings.  Controversial; but I think scriptural and logical.  I would however, appreciate any facts of substance that may shed light on a different conclusion.  I say facts rather than opinion or denominational theology.  

We should all agree that Yahweh God has His system and satn, His adversary, the deceive theirs.  The two do not mix though the latter may try and imitate principles and or aspects of Yahweh’s.  Satn’s aim is to set up a counterfeit system whereby

God told Cain Gen 4:7 If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? Even though Noah had never seen rain he acted on the instructions God gave him Gen 6:22 Thus did Noah; according to all that God commanded him, so did he. My last example even from the first book of the Bible being Gen 17:1 And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect. Gen 17:2 And I will ... That is the precept, obedience to plus faith in God’s instruction words.

What makes one heirs of Yahweh’s earthly promise and citizens of His eternal kingdom? Is it their parentage, geographic place of birth, colour or other criteria?  Is it reserved for descendants of Israel or all humans and if the former, who are real Israelites?  There is a lot of theoretical answers to these questions by various groups.  Some are claiming that they are the real Jews or Israelites and others are imposters or gentiles.  Even causing hostility, anger or resentment of other groups.  So at the end of the study we can ask the real Jew to please stand up and others to sit down. 

As bible believers who desire to be part of the titled group let us see what the source of our faith says on the criteria to be of the group. Whether it matters if we are part of that Israelite group or is it a divisive deceit of the devil in order to gather armies to fight God’s people in the Revelation battle of Armageddon or make claim to the earthly land of Israel. 

As we study, bear in mind God created all humans, what he desires for them and the way He has gone about it setting up one nation as a light to the other nations.  Bear in mind 2Pe 3:9  The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.   Eph 4:13  Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ: 

I have in the past done a presentation titled “My People”, the term used by God for His group.  I have also done one called “Spirit of the Torah”.  Then d one going through many of the bible verses some groups use to substantiate their claim of being the real Israelites.  I do not intend to duplicate any of those points here; but suggest you listen to those studies to add to this one.  What I am aiming to do in this study is trace the formation and composition of “Israel” before they went into Egypt, when they came out, if they changed during the years until the Messiah came and stop at to where they possibly dispersed in AD 70 at the time of the temple’s destruction.  To follow my evidence you first need to understand the difference between “Israel the nation” and a “Hebrew”.  The latter is by birth or bloodline and the former is an amalgamation of various individuals or group.

I got the title for this sermon from a film called Collateral Beauty. It was about a man, acted by Will Smith, grieving for the death of his daughter. I recommend it. He wrote three letters to love, life and death. In a sense he lost his will to live and even blamed death for not accepting a bargain he tried to make with it. An exchange of his life for his daughter’s. The same exchange God made with death. That of His son in exchange for us who deserve the wages of our sins. I am going to change the order to Life, Love, Death as that is the order of our existence. First we are given life. In the middle we are to love God and our neighbour and at the end comes one death to all; but to others two. The second death to those who did not do the loving part right. There are many things I could say on those three letters; but I have a particular direction I want to go. Not so much the destination of our death; but that of persons we know and more specifically knew; but maybe with whom we lost contact. We have no control on the life given to us as a baby; but If we and them can achieve the middle part, we can control the end destination and accomplish purpose of life to death. Jas_5:20 Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins. We can then come unto stage two, the promised gift of God. A better life in His new heaven and earth, without the pain of the second death. Now we know how to show love to God, and even our friends sometimes; but what about our neighbour; former friends. Do they not deserve the knowledge you have gained or vision now seen that you nor them saw in your former days together? 1Pe_4:8 And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins. What is the best kind of charity we can give? Is it not the knowledge of eternal life, peace in God as we and they draw nearer to death? Everyone is dying whether knowing or not. Many may not really appreciate the consequence of living the middle part of the three right. For one reason or other they may either be ignorant or putting off finding out. We can make difference. Remember a film called Brewster’s Millions? A man, I think called Brewster, was given millions to spend in a certain time and if he accomplished the task properly, he would get multi millions back. We are given the same offer. The spending is not to be on us; but others. The currency is love and if we spend it properly in God’s eyes, we get His promise.

Our world as created by Yahweh God is operated on decisions. Some decisions He has set in place and are everlasting as the ordinances of the sun and moon or which way a tree grows. Up, down towards or away from light. It is the same for seeds and some life species. They migrate seasonal times of the year, swim miles to come to shore to lay eggs, even the tide of the oceans keep a rhythm according to the decisions put in place for them by God. All creations of God know and follow the decisions He made for them; except humans who are supposed to be wiser than them and only a little less wiser than angels. Our body functions follow decisions or ordinances God has programmed. Whether it is simply ones’ as a woman’s menstrual cycle or transference of DNA makeup from parent to offspring. We cannot deny the preset decisions God has instituted. So much so, that medical researchers know that if they can decipher the bodies decision making pattern and process, they can tap into it to achieve a result. Almost like diverting the path of a river. Yet the part of human existence decisions that is left in their control is commonly against God’s plan. Some, if not all human decisions, He has made for us and left us to choose whether we follow them. Some people may think this freedom to choose is the same as us making the right decision i.e. what we deem to be right according to our understanding is right. That is not the case. He and only He can set the criteria for what is right whether we accept it or not. For example, with Adam and Eve in the garden, God had set the right thing to do was not to touch the tree of knowledge. Gen 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. Whether touching the tree was right or wrong was not Adam’s or Eve’s decision to make.

You may have heard the saying Money makes the world go round.  Well, in a sense it does.  One can learn a lot from money.  Knowing and appreciating its worth.  There is a term used in economics and accountancy called “opportunity cost”.   It is the lost of alternative uses for the money when one alternative is chosen.   In other words, the lost of a benefit that a person could have received, but gave up to take another course of action.  It is sometimes also called alternative cost. 

Think of it in the sense of all the good bad things you could have been doing if not chosen to follow Yahweh God.  The pleasures, treasures and fun you could have had.  The hurt by mouth or actions you could have imposed on others. 

Well as another saying goes, nothing in life is free.  There is no free lunch, even if not in the monetary sense and definitely not eternal salvation of Yahweh God.  Had you not chosen to give up an alternative lifestyle, you would not get His promise.  Yet there are those who teach we are saved by grace and it is a free gift.  If it is so free, why are we asked and taught by God through His bible to change? 

It is a basic principle of salvation and money.  If you want good things for the future, you or someone on your behalf, has to sacrifice and invest today.  Israel got the favour of God because of their father Abraham’s investment of faith and obedience  Gen 26:4  And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; Gen 26:5  Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.  

Israel was God’s first born, yet 430 years earlier, before their conception through Jacob, God had planned and prepared for them.  Just like a loving well thinking father or parent.  Exo_4:22  And thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith the LORD, Israel is my son, even my firstborn: Exo_12:40  Now the sojourning of the children of Israel, who dwelt in Egypt, was four hundred and thirty years. Exo_12:41  And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the hosts of the LORD went out from the land of Egypt.

When we add to God’s commandments, take away from, change or replace do we sin and are any of those things acceptable by God?  We should first see if God gave any instructions about such actions and any consequences of violating any such instruction.  

Many people turn to Rev 22:18 but they take it out of context when applying it to the question above.  Rev 22:18  For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: Rev 22:19  And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.  

However, that relates to the “prophecy of this book” being the book of Revelations and the prophecy of Yahshua the Messiah that started in Revelation 1:1 not the book of the Bible.  Whether or not man adds to or take away from what God has prophesied,  their action would not change the event only the plagues added to them.  God says Isa_55:11  So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. 

However, included in that prophecy is the criteria for salvation Rev 14:12  Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. Rev 22:14  Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.  So anyone that teaches only one thing is needed i.e. faith, grace, love has taken away from the prophesy and will suffer the said consequences. 

The answer to our question is found in Deu_4:2  Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you. Deu_12:32  What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.

Religion, what is it?  Is it something we do regularly and religiously as being a fan of a sport as attending a football teams matches where we religiously buy the season ticket or attend every match.  Or is it something to do with a god where we commonly associate the word religion?  I think it is commonly accepted and I also believe that religion should be something associated with a god, a faith of moral and religious system.  On that basis, we know there a many religions; but what is true religion?  It should be, I would say, the religion of the god you choose, in our case of our bibles or Torah.  James talks about the true religion of our God, Yehovah or Yahweh according to your pronunciation.   So what is that true religion? Do we go to James for it, maybe the apostles or Yahshua the Messiah or do we go to God Himself?  

I think the true religion would be a religion that that god would like us to follow.  So I am going to start with seeing what He would like us to do as His true religion.  He has given us some guidelines in scriptures which I shall cover below.  We should see He wants us to live a life of unity in spirit and truth with each other.  Giving each other assistance and support.  Not by some being idle and expecting the others to feed them; but in sharing according to our blessings and others poverty.  Remember Paul said 2Th 3:10  For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat. 

That is what I think a church religion, congregation should be like and hopefully we can achieve here.  Where we are our brothers keeper, we are looking out for each other without expecting in return.  It does not have to be financially but to empathise with each other emotionally, especially those who may feel lonely sometimes.  It is definitely more than attending studies or service together.  At the end of Acts 2 it speaks of such a congregation or community.  Maybe that extent is not achievable; but I do desire we at least achieve the emotional support for each other.

A few events of a few weeks ago brought the need for this teaching to mind.  They fall into two main categories.  The first is portrayed in videos of what is happening to the world before the eyes of self proclaimed believers in the God of the bible.  The second the actions of those believers, on which I shall comment.  In the first category of videos, as we hear constantly on other media, we see the world being formed by others.  Either of promoting by all means another religious belief to ours. Or those of anti God beliefs.  Both are against our God, that of our bible and its teachings.  We are being pressed from all sides.  Even from government and enforcement agencies so we have no where or no one to whom to turn.  This is a worldwide phenomena.  We only saw examples of it in Australia and USA; but also heard of it happening in the UK. 

One thing we ought to have noticed from the Australian converts viewed is they came from free spirit upbringing.  Surfers, party goers etc.  People one would never have thought would dramatically change their lives from zero to 100.  From binge drinking, single party goers to not drinking or moderate drinking family young business owner.  From zero times a day praying to 5 times starting at 5a.m I think.  It should tell us that people are not happy with the world’s way of life.  They are simply following what they know and see around them.  They are practicing escapism until they are shown a better way and they cleave to the first better way they are shown in the absence of the true better way of the one true God.   

If we of the bible, regardless of denomination or individual theology, do not band together to fight the bigger threats, we shall all be swallowed up one at a time, little by little.  Those of the world are wiser that those of the light in the sense they know and practice that the enemy of my enemy is my friend.

Photo 1, of a crowd going to work.  There could be some people of YHWH God in this crowd.  Photo 2, sporting or other recreation event: there also may be some people of God in this crowd.  Photo 3, common church worship.  There are probably no people of YHWH God in this crowd, at that moment anyway.  

So how do we know which people are of God in the various crowd photos?  They look similar.  Is it by the way they dress?   

Photo 4, Crowd Photo of president Obama’s inauguration and of Trump's.  Some people can tell lies about the same facts i.e. who had the biggest crowd turn out.  Claims of false news.  We get the same with would be believers and teachers of God of the bible. 

Photo 4, of the earth from out of space.  In this earth there are very few people following YHWH God their creator.  Psa_14:2  The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.  Rev_18:4  And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

I took the title from a reply a lady got when talking to a friend about their difference in the worship of the same God of the bible.  It sounds like one of those catch phrases big television church pastors come up with to justify their theology.  That difference, or the main one I suppose, being the day / days of their worship.  Two opposing beliefs cannot be truth.  Only one or none is truth and only one of the ladies can be correct unless both are wrong.  I think one main error followers of Christ make is thinking He came to replace the part of God’s law which contains things we are not to do or to do as have no other god except me, do not murder and honour your parents.  He did not.  He came to give a better forgiveness system through His sacrifice for those who transgress the list of dos and don'ts. 

So how is God looking down from heaven going to know who are His children?  Because He is going to look on the inside of each person not their outside. What is on the inside?  Our heart, manifested in our actions.  So God is going to look for certain actions or lifestyle to see the condition of our hearts.  Now many people may think about the fruits of the spirit, actions to fellow man; but rarely do they consider their actions to God.  Actions scripture says as keeping the primary part of His commandments.  Here are some words of God or His prophets. 

Those of you of Caribbean origin may have heard and know what the phrase “bigup yourself” or “bigup your chest” mean.  It stands for giving yourself praise or a pat on the back.  Their slang way of saying stand proud or be proud.  Similar to a rooster, sometimes called cockrel or male chicken that bigup or puff ups its chest.  You also see it of some men who want to look strong.  They take a big breath into their chest and push it out.  I suppose it is not limited to men.

Some of you familiar with the bible  may know the verse of 2Ti_2:15  Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.  In other words one can wrongly divide or understand God’s word of Truth.  The verse says you firstly have to be a workman at the task of understanding the scriptures and then not to be ashamed of rightly dividing it.  Maybe those who wrongly divide it should be ashamed; yet those are generally the ones who try to make the right dividers ashamed.

So I have put the two things together to get the title “Rightly Bigup Yourself”.   Many people bigup themselves in their and others eyes; but have they got the standing to do that?  Or are they “fronting it” as another phrase goes.  Giving an image without backing.  For example driving an expensive car financed on hire purchase, or while living in a bedsit.  Or even as I heard last week,  living at the charity of a friend yet borrowing thousands from the friend to buy a £19k brand new car having recently lost their job.

For bible believers and in God’s eyes, I suspect He sees many “Christians” with the same mentality of “fronting it” in their, others and even God’s eye.  Remember Mat 7:21  Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Mat 7:22  Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? Mat 7:23  And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. I suspect those persons were “fronting it” and even “bigging up” themselves believing their own facade.  We can put on an impressive front to ourselves and others; but God looks inwardly not at our exterior.  1Sa 16:7  But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart. 

Gen 1:1  In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.  Gen 1:2  And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. Gen 1:3  And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.  Gen 1:4  And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. 

Joh 1:1  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Joh 1:2  The same was in the beginning with God. Joh 1:3  All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made. Joh 1:4  In him was life; and the life was the light of men. Joh 1:5  And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. 

There has been many beginnings in the world, even in our lives.  As bible believers I have opened with what may be the two most important ones.  The creation of the world by our heavenly Father and the arrival of His son. 

Gen 1:1-4 mirrors our creation.  In our beginning God created us.  Through our parents; but with His breath of life.  Our little bodies of 7lbs or so was without mental form. It had a physical form as the earth, or a newly created computer; but lacked content, purpose and knowledge.  We were in both darkness, probably not even able to see sunlight nor the light of God’s directives.  Yet the spirit of God was in our lives even on the first day of our existence.  We had parents or a human to take initial care of us.  For many of us our parents may have had the inclination to have us christened.  For a traditional Jewish boy, it would have been circumcised. Bringing the light of God into our lives.  From then on our parents or guardians were supposed to raise us in the light of God; separated from the darkness of the devil.

God ask we serve Him with our mind being intellect, body being actions or words and soul being heart.  Today I am going to attempt to perform some HEART surgeries to affect your MINDS through your STOMACHS with the aim of giving you eternal life.  The life for which we are called to labour in Heb 4:11.  My scalper will be the WORD of God also taken from Hebrews 4:11 “Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.  Heb 4:12  For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 

The intent of your heart shall be shown by your subsequent actions after today.  Not to me; but to God through your behaviour to others.  Not by your behaviour in words as those of Isa 29:13 but sincerity which God will perceive in your hearts.  Isa 29:13  Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:

A letter from Father to Child.

My child, you may not know me; but I know everything about you (Psm 139:1). I know when you sit down and when you rise up (Psm 139:2) I am familiar with all your ways.  Even the very hairs on your head are numbered (Matt 10:29-31).  For you were made in my image (Gen 1:27). In me you live and move and have all your being for you are my offspring (Acts 17:28).  I knew you even before you were conceived (Jer 1:4-5).  I chose you when I planned creation (Eph 1:11-12).  You were not a mistake for all your days are written in my book (Psm 139:15-16).  I determine the exact time of your birth and where you would live (Acts 17:26).  You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psm 139:14).  I knit you together in your mother’s womb (v13) and brought you forth on the day you were born (Psm 71:6). 

Before I get into the topic, let me outline some facts from scriptures and writings of the bible which sets some boundaries to our understanding of the same.  They should show one faith for all, Jew and gentile.  Faith, grace or belief in the Messiah does not exclude us from keeping God’s laws passed on through Moses.  Jews and Gentiles were in the same place at the same weekly and annual times to hear these laws of God as recorded by Moses.  Lastly, God has not cast away nor replaced the Jews yet is not a respecter of persons. 

Eph 4:5  One Lord, one faith, one baptism, Act 10:34  Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: Act 10:35  But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.

I have done a lot of teachings on the essential requirements of Yahweh God for our lives.  I wanted to move onto how our lives should change with this knowledge beyond keeping the laws of God.  More relevant to daily circumstances in our lives which we are to overcome. … It deals with the mental and physical changes we are called to go through as believers.  I will use the recent Olympics as a comparison.  Those participants trained extremely hard and constant for their goal.  A goal of glory in achieving a medal, beating a record and bringing honour and glory to the nation they represent.   Some started from an early age or earlier than others.  Some had disabilities of various levels.  Missing limb or limbs or stumped in growth.  Developed or acquired their disability after being whole or were born with it.  Maybe from a life changing circumstance of serving in a war, accident or illness.  In other words they all started off from different points (able bodied or not so abled), travelled different routes, yet all aimed for the same goal and glory.  

The word “evil” appears in the bible 613 times out of 569 verses. Strong’s concordance has associated 19 Hebrew words and 23 Greek ones with the word evil. Whether evil in speech, thought or other remote connection (detailed in the vocal version). I am sure we all have a concept of what or who is evil and the source of such evil; but we shall scripturely examine our concept. Are we evil or not? Gen 2:9 And out of the ground made Yahweh God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil (H7451). From this sentence it may be said that the devil, satan, deceiver, the serpent did not introduce evil into the world. God did. In the form of knowledge via a tree. Was the tree evil or was the tree a means of identifying evil? Later we shall see. Bear in mind Exo 20:20 “And Moses said unto the people, Fear not: for God is come to prove you, and that his fear may be before your faces, that ye sin not”. Also why did God direct satan to Job? We may say that the 1/3 of angels who sided with satan were evil and those who did not were good. Jer 10:3 For the customs of the people are vain: for one cuts a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.

[Open with card trick to show how one’s eyes can be deceived].  We all know and accept there is the Holy and powerful Spirit of God or Holy Spirit as is called in the New Testament.  We should equally know and accept there are spirits not of God.  The bible speaks of many unhealthy spirits.  Of fear, Jealousy, whoredom, unclean devil, of devils, the anti-christ, bondage or of the world.  I am going to speak of one which comes in many disguises.  Of envy, desire, haughty, self or of Egypt where rulers wanted to be and made themselves gods.  

In war truth is the first casualty.  Our enemy is the deceiver who is against truth.  Through subtlety and as a minister of light he fights our flesh, blood and mind.  One of our most important defences is truth.  So we must seek it out Joh 4:23  But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. Joh 4:24  God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. Eph 6:14  Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

1Co 10:20  But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils. 1Co 10:21  Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils.  2Co 6:15  And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

There are systems of many things in the world as well as organisations and it is possible to be in more than one at the same time.  However, I hope to show you with Yahweh’s spiritual system one can only belong to it solely and exclusively.  So any other system is "sacrifice to devils"!!  This mean it is not like a meal where you can have a bit of this and a bit of that to make up a system to your liking or participate in more than His system.  If your present denomination has got a bit of it's system wrong, it may be "sacrificing to devils".  Second point is God only has one system with specific ways of which Moses and Yahshua were the two main teachers.  That system was for both believing Jews and Gentiles.  For prove of the latter point see previous studies on Jew and Gentile scriptures.

I want you to turn to your neighbour and say …… No don’t do that, we are not sheep in here.  It always amuses me when I see whole congregations of thousands of people turning to their neighbour and saying what the pastor tells them.  Why, for what purpose?  Are they sheep?  Well brethren, I want to congratulate you in here for not being sheep.  You have come to a place in your spiritual life and search where you do not simply follow; but question and go by the scriptural evidence.  I hope that applies to all of you.  In fact you are much fewer than those who do simply follow or take the flimsy evidence of a preacher.    What you can do, is congratulate yourselves and feel proud for adopting that adult learning mentality.  Where you may not have everything 100% right and understood; but have a mental system to weigh up the scriptural evidence on which to make your stand or change. 

From watching other preachers and observing what influences congregations and individual’s belief, it appears it is not the scriptures; but the charisma of the speaker using their own words.  I know I do not have charisma and thus rely on the scriptural Word of God to move people.  That only works with people of sincere minds and fear of God of which there are very few.  It did not work with Noah, the prophets or even in many cases Yahshua.  An extract to show this point is:

Joh 6:59  These things said he in the synagogue, as he taught in Capernaum. Joh 6:60  Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it? Joh 6:66  From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.  Joh 6:67  Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?

It would appear the world, including most people of the bible, have more fear of the dead or ghosts than of God.  They have preset numbers or agencies on whom to call in times of trouble.  Whether car breakdown, medical or other.  In the USA there is 911, in the UK 999.   I recall a song that accompanied a film.  It’s lyrics are: 

If there's something strange, In your neighbourhood, Who you gonna call? Ghostbusters.  If there's something weird And it don't look good, Who you gonna call? Ghostbusters.

Shabbot Shalom brethren and a belated happy biblical new year to you all (Ex 12:2).  I shall send out a previous presentation from 2012 which may have some additional information for your listening.  The Hebrew name for the day is Pesach and means to protect or protective sacrifice for the event.  The English word is taken from what actually happen; God “passed over” the houses of the Israelites who had painted the blood of the lamb on their door posts and lintels.  The Passover is first mentioned in Exodus 12:11  And thus shall ye eat it; with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: it is the LORD'S passover.  Not the Jews.  

Lev 23:5  In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is the LORD'S Passover.  It fits into the history of His people when they first became a nation and as a nation were delivered out of the bondage of slavery in Egypt.  Let us back track a bit and remind ourselves how they got to this point.  Remember Yahweh God made all things and humans.  He made one race, the human race and is Father of all.  Showing no preference except by a criteria of obedience. 

“All my little plans and schemes, Lost like some forgotten dream, Seems like all I really was doing, Was waiting for you”.  In our lives, in Yahweh God’s created world we have made big plans and grandeur schemes.  To get rich, buy a big house, travel the world and live happy ever after.  Remember in school at age about 11 you were asked what do you want to be when you grow up.  Who do you want to marry, where live etc?  Big plans for us; but little in the bigger scheme of things, the world and God’s plans.  How many of ours did we accomplish?  How many of God’s did He accomplish?  Were we able to add one hair to our head.  I MEAN NATURAL HAIR!

Not that I turn to dictionaries for definition of biblical things as the bible should be understood through itself line upon line and precept upon precept; but a dictionary definition of religion is “the belief and worship of a super human controlling power, especially a personal God or gods.  A particular system of faith and worship. A pursuit of interest followed with great devotion i.e. football. 

The biblical definition is Jas 1:27  Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.  So apart from the easily understood part, pure religion is to keep oneself unspotted from the world.  To mix with the world or become spotted by it is to defile it.  That is the purpose of the deceiver and his apparent angels of light.  To make believers spotted and defiled, unacceptable by God.  Yahweh God, in His directives gave many ways how one can become defiled and separated from Him.

I shall pronounce God’s biblical name found in Psalm 68:4 and 83:18 as Yahweh.  Taken from YHWH, YHVH.  Others pronounce as Yahoveh.  The first time Yahweh God identified His affiliation to a group of people was in  Exo 3:7  And Yahweh said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows; .   When you join God’s people, you in a way enter the centre of His vision rather than being in the peripheral view. Any cry you make is louder to Him and through your prayers He moves to ease your affliction and sorrows.
