MANIFESTATIONS OF GOD & the HOLY SPIRIT

Today we have a two for one offer. Two message for the price of one. That price is Nothing. Without price or money as Yahweh says in Isaiah 55. Now we all like a good story so I’m going to tell you a very good story. Some of it you may know and some not know; but it is a story or should I say account of history we all want to know. It is an account of how the human race got here. It is an account of the God of the heavens of which there are three as described in Genesis 1. The lower is the firmament in which the birds fly, the next is what we call space where the planets are based and the last is the heaven of the heavens where God resides. Scripture says It is His throne. We all know and I think accept the part of God in His magnificent, wisdom created our earth and us. Unfortunately His adversary created by God and working for Him, rebelled and wanted to be in command not, we are told, second in command as some do. And for his action he was cast down to below the first firmament our earth where we reside. And he is here causing havoc. Like a roaring lion seeking whom he can devour because he wants to ascend back up to the heaven of heavens and be as God and until then he wants to make himself our god. Worshipping him instead of our real creator Yahweh. So from the beginning of mankind, this has been his ploy. Starting with our fore parents Adam and Eve and he continues through Noah and all generations of the human race. Now the end of the story as is relevant to each one of us we can write. There are two possible destinations for us. We can either end up in a new heaven and earth prepared for us by Yahweh for those who show obedience to His way of life or the fiery pit reserved for the deceiver and those falling for his deceits. Now how do we write the end of this story as relevant to us? Well as it says in Revelations 12:17 and 14:12 by keeping the commandments of Yahweh God and having faith of His son YAHOSHUA . Speaking of the new earth Rev 22:14 says “Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.” I hope we all know the basics of these commandments; but if you don’t, you have the whole what we call Old Testament to teach you. Then we have the faith of His promised son as narrated in what is called the New Testimony. Promised from the creation of the earth when sin first came about through Adam and Eve, this son has come to show us the way back as the teachings of the law and prophets didn’t seem to work. Israel the nation, was God’s first born (Ex 4:22) . Those supposed to be a light to the ungodly gentiles and show them the way to salvation through the way of Life He gave them through Moses. I suppose because they came from corruptible seed of Adam and Eve God had to send His incorruptible first born in His son YAHOSHUA who would do the same thing. Bring God’s created human race back to His ways. So now though we had the law and prophets and the coming of the Messiah, the deceiver is now using this event to say the commandments of God and the faith of YAHOSHUA has changed. Teachings of the Law and prophets have been nailed to the cross so that our works will change and as a result fall foul of Rev 20:12-13 the books were opened and everyone was judged according to their works. I SHOULD INSERT HERE THAT The word Torah, which bibles wrongly translate as law, comes from the roots YARAH, which means to shoot, aim, or point to, and MORAH, meaning teacher. Therefore, the Torah is God’s instruction to His people. These instructions teach us how to live on this earth and point us to eternal life through YAHOSHUA. See Pro 3 Can you all see the person standing next to me. No. Well He is here. How can you miss Him. He is huge. In fact fills the room. Is Onipresent. Still can’t see Him. Ok Let me assist as He assisted His separated and sanctified people whom He took out of Egypt who the bible calls the children of Israel; But we should not forget non birth right Israelites went with Moses as a mixed multitude. Only Yahweh can do the non consuming burning bush manifestation so I will use two similar symbols of His other manifestations of Him. LIGHT MATCH: This fire resembles His presence at night over His people as he led them to the promised land. BLOW OUT:/ OR USE AIR SPRAY This smoke resembles His presence in the CLOUD during the day. Through both it signifies He knows what we need before we even ask as it says in Mat 6:32. Warmth at night when the heat of the sun has departed. Shade during the day when it sends out its rays. Not only is He everywhere; but He can do anything and manifest Himself in any form or simultaneously separate forms. Some may think that YAHOSHUA (Jesus) was the first and only manifestation of God in human form. But it wasn’t. We read an account of Abraham being promised a son in his old age in Gen 18:1 “And Yahweh appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day; Gen 18:2 And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground,”. We follow the narrative to v20 and read “Gen 18:20 And YAHWEH said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous; Gen 18:21 I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know. Gen 18:22 And the men turned their faces from thence, and went toward Sodom: but Abraham stood yet before Yahweh. We read on to hear conclusion of the conversation between Abraham and God. Then chapter 19 starts with two of the three men now entering Sodom. Gen 19:1 “And there came two angels to Sodom at evening; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground;” Later we have the story of Jacob wrestling with God in Ex 32: where v30 reads “Gen 32:30 And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.” Some may also add the story at Daniel 3:25 of the 3 Hebrew boys in the fire, yet the king saw a forth man like the “Son of God”. In the New Testament we have manifestations as the dove that descended on His son’s head at His baptism or the cloven tongues in the upper room in Acts 2:3 So when we get to YAHOSHUA , it is simply a manifestation of God for our dumb human mentality benefit. “Joh 14:10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father , and the Father in me? The words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works”. Just like a ventriloquist or an unmanned aircraft being controlled by another. Mark 10:27; luke 1:37 “for with God all things are possible”. As YAHOSHUA had Yahweh living in him and speaking through Him, so we too if we abide in YAHOSHUA can have his words speaking and works done through us Joh 15:7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Joh 15:10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. Possibly if people knew god they would have said of His son, you sound just like your Father. Did he tell you to say that? And of us, you sound and act like the Messiah in the Bible. Have you eaten a copy? Hence when people see us they should see the father in our actions, mannerism and way of life. When they hear us they should hear words of His father’s scriptures we have memorised as answers or based on our knowledge of His word. Sadly what we hear from some people regarding Christians is “they are the biggest hypocrites, liars and thieves. Though Christians may have been taught God, His son and the Holy Spirit are three or Three in one. Many have come to realise the essence of what the Jews proclaim weekly in a saying called the SHEMA “Deu 6:4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD (which is a substitute for His name Yahweh) our God is one”. Isa 44:6 Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God. Isa 43:11 I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour. Remember no one can see Him as He is and live. We need a buffer in between us for our protection, hence why He had to protect Moses in the cleft of the rock when showing him part of His glory. When the Israelites saw Moses face shining after meeting with God, it could have been another buffer for his protection. We too may well need a buffer as an intermediary either in the form of a High Priest as Aaron or His Son, YAHOSHUA . YAHOSHUA said that He would leave us the Holy Spirit who will bring to remembrance all that His father and Him taught. Now, satn the deceiver being a spirit is using his spirit and his ministers of light to bring us messages as if they are guidance from the Holy Spirit. So today, I would like to show some of what this Holy spirit is supposed to do for us. How it is supposed to change our character, behaviour to end up writing the story that we end up in the new heaven and earth. We should get love for God’s other children, our brothers and sisters to whom we show charity if needed. Non judgmental showing empathy and compassion while encouraging correct behaviour. Calmness, long suffering, how we treat our neighbour etc.. If we achieve these things then our works would be in line with our change of character, We would not rob, charge usury, we would raise our children right and ofcourse keep His other commandments so that when the judgment books are opened we would have the commandments of Yahweh God as kept by following his word, the example of His son and the leadership of His Holy Spirit. All 3 bringing us to the same character traits and behaviour so that we fit perfectly into the new earth and would not create another disaster if, God forbid, another deceiver tries to tempt us. Yahoshua said when he goes he will send a comforter and unless He goes the comforter cannot come. So let’s see how H.Spirit shows himself. Now I hope some of you have heard the H.S. spk to you whether with a scripture or a bit of wisdom particular to yourself; but if not, if you have not recognised when the H.S. was in your life these are some of the instances you may have missed. 1) As a teacher. If you open his word He would hopefully talk to you through them and be your teacher, or through a brethren as iron sharpens iron. We help each other. When we see a brethren having a problem, we say, let’s see what God says on the topic. And they refer you to some helpful scriptures. It was really the H.S. as He did with Philip and the Eunuch or other places in the N.Testament 2) As a comforter. Brother Darren. I hear you’ve had an illness in the family and you’re at the hospital all the time. I am so sorry to hear this. I’ve brought you some food or say silver and gold I have not but can I come and pray with you. Together we’ll petition God to sort out your problem. OR YAWN AND ACT OUT TIREDNESS AND PHONE RINGS. SEND HER on fake errand over to another in hall, then quietly slip some money into her bag before she returns. Whistle and look innocent as if nothing happened. OR ACT OUT PHONE CALL TO ANOTHER. Brother Ray, how are you. You know sister … and her 3 children are going through a bit of a financial crisis. You know she is a very hard worker, a careful person with her money not wasting a penny and it’s unfortunate this has happened to her. I’m phoning round to see who could spare a little help for her. What I am trying to show is that God works through us. The same way we cannot see the wind unless it manifest itself in a storm or blowing against something, likewise it is with God. When He sent His son it was Him working through YAHOSHUA to heal, save and teach us. He wouldn’t ask us to do anything He wouldn’t do and that includes giving up His life. Heb 13:2 Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. Mat 25:44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? Mat 25:45 Then shall he answer them, saying, I say unto you, Inasmuch as you did it not to one of the least of these, you did it not to me. Mat 25:46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal. This does not mean He expects us to act unwise and let others take advantage of us. We can make each others lives blessed if we allow God to use us. How do we know if we have achieved the characteristics the Holy Spirit is trying to teach and refine in us? The same way we know most things, by measuring and comparison against what we know to be of the Holy Spirit. Against His word, example of YAHOSHUA . So when we get angry or tempted to steal something etc we take that desire to the scriptures and see if our actions or proposed actions are in line with the God’s commandments, the example of His son and the inspired written word of the Holy Spirit. Is it right not to discipline my children, or permit them to wear this or that kind of clothing. Sometimes we expect the Holy spirit to supply our wants; lead or talk to us as we imagine. But we are to test the received spirit. John the Baptist when in prison sent his disciples to YAHOSHUA asking if He is the “saviour” or should we look for another. It could be like us asking God are you coming to save me as my saviour or shall I wait for another. YAHOSHUA replied tell John what you see. To us, I am the saviour but I am not coming to save you as you think, in the time you think. We must remember fear not those who can take your life but those who can take your soul. Psa 19:7 The law of YAHWEH is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of YAHWEH is sure, making wise the simple. Yahweh’s Laws have not been nailed to the cross. To that extent, living by them, the Kingdom of God is within you. In fact in Mark 12:28-34 a scribe asked Yahoshua “which is the first commandment of all”? Yahoshua answered QUOTING Deu 6:4, the SHEMA. Hear O Israel Yahweh our God is one. Love him with all heart, soul, mind and strength. And second commandment is love thy neighbour as self. NOW reading from v32-34 Mar 12:32 And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he: Mar 12:33 And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices. Mar 12:34 And when Jesus saw that he answered discreetly, he said unto him, Thou art not far from the kingdom of God So if you would like to rediscover the lost ways of Yahweh, we would love to have you study with us.
